Howdy! We are alive and well in Texas! We've already been here 3 weeks and have had lots of adventures. Our main adventure being trying to buy a house. We haven't had luck with that feat yet, but are hoping that we can get into our house within the next 2 weeks. We've had some very generous people let us stay at their house so we are grateful for them. We are excited to have our own someday soon, though. :)
Brant is loving school so far. He is enjoying class and really likes the people he's working with. We definitely made the right choice. Brant has been home for dinner every night since we got here! We joke that we've seen each other more in the last month than in the 6 months prior to that. It's probably true. The kids are loving having their daddy home more too.

All of our toys are packed up and in a storage unit so we did some yard-saleing and made some good finds. The trampoline was $10 and we all love it. The little road set you see in the back was $5 and has provided Spencer and Gavin with hours of entertainment. They've been such good sports despite all of the changes they're going through.
Here's Spencer decked out in A&M garb. Once he put the football helmet on he proclaimed, "I'm a Buckeye!". I don't know if he'll ever outgrow the Buckeye indoctrination he's received. :) 
Happy Father's Day! The boys had fun 'helping' Brant open his present. We got him a big tool bag, a chalk reel (to measure straight lines on a wall), and a grill utensil set (this is more for me since I love it when Brant grills). Another one of our yard sale finds was a $10 grill that we're excited to start using. For dinner I made Hawaiian Haystacks. We were so excited to have a real meal since the last 3 weeks we've been staying somewhere with no stove/oven. We have had A LOT of microwaved meals and way too much fast food.
The library here did a 'big rig' day where all kinds of big trucks, vehicles and even a helicopter came and the kids got to go inside each one. Spencer was a little hesitant to get in most of them, but really liked the tractor. He's in there with one of his new friends (another Spencer).
