Dishes for Diapers

Brant and I have the best deal going on. He hates changing diapers and I hate doing a sink full of dishes every day so I change all the diapers and he does all the dishes. We both think we're getting the better end of the deal so it's been working really well the past few months. I think we'll keep it up!

Spencer is growing so fast. He just turned 9 months and is getting ready to crawl. He can get on his hands and knees (after much effort) and then rock back and forth. We just went to the doctor for his check-up and though he's only 10th percentile for weight and 25th for height, he's 100th for head circumference! He needs room for his big brain as my dad would say. Spencer doesn't have any teeth yet, though it seems like he's been teething for months.
Last week Brant's parents and his sister, Marnae, and family came to town for his mom's family reunion. We spent the day at a park and Brant got to see some cousins he hadn't seen in a decade. He spent most of the day playing volleyball with anyone who would play with him. Amie and I got to go to the zoo with Brant's family. I took a few pictures of the giraffes because they're my favorite.

Spencer can't even crawl yet and he already managed to break the heads off of our little statue that was on the mantel. He's a talented kid.

Big heads are great! Jacob's always been 95th percentile or therabouts. baby einsteins in the making...that's what we are told.

Nice statue! Put a smile on my face.
