We are still alive and have lots of fun changes taking place in the next few weeks. Brant is now officially unemployed (and happier than ever!). We've spent the last week packing since we're headed to Texas next week. Brant is starting his PhD in accounting at Texas A&M. It's a four year program so we're buying a house there and we are soooo excited about that!
Here are some family pics from the last couple months.

Gavin learned how to climb the stairs and it's now his favorite thing to do. Makes me nervous and glad our new house won't have any stairs to worry about.

Yep, that's Brant on the motorcycle. That'll be his mode of transportation in Texas. Well, not this particular bike. After a 10 minute ride around the parking lot it died and the cost to fix it is as much as we paid for it on craigslist. Too bad. We're looking for a new one...

My mom came to visit for a week in April! We had so much fun and we're so glad she came.

Spencer and Gavin really missed her when she left.

Spencer likes to read books, Gavin likes to eat books.

I ran a half marathon with some friends. I almost died, but was so happy when I finished. :)

At the zoo with Grandma Pam and Grandpa Rich. We're sure going to miss them!

Like father, like son. Brant was so proud that Gavin shares his love of Dr. Pepper.

This is Spencer's post-nap peek over the stair rail. I love when he comes down. He gives me a big hug and I ask him how he slept. He always says, "I sleep well". Then I ask if he wants something to eat. The answer is always no, he has much more important things to do than eat.

Here is Spencer teaching Gavin his letters. I figure we just have to teach one kid and they can pass along their knowledge to the next ones.

Texas. Fun adventures. What cute boys. Good luck with the move.
so cute! I'm excited for your adventure to Texas!! Too bad you have to go down in the middle of summer! Have you already found a house (it sounds like you have)? Post pictures soon of the new place!
Oh man you must be in Texas already! Congratulations! That's so exciting and seems like perfect for Brant. I'm sad we didn't get to see you once more but I'm sure you're going to have a fabulous time there!
