Christmastime!

 

 We were so lucky this Christmas to have Danille and Grandma Pam and Grandpa Rich visit! There was always lots of reading going on.

We got pictures taken with Santa at Bass Pro, but Emma didn't seem to appreciate it (neither did Santa). 

The boys loved shooting the guns with Grandpa, though. 

We had a dance party and Danille showed Gavin some moves. 

There was also a pretty intense gingerbread house competition going on. Team 1 was Danille and Tyler, Grandpa and Spencer were Team 2, and Team 3 was Brant and Gavin. Everyone's turned out so different, but equally cool. 

On Christmas Eve we opened a new family game called Reverse Charades. Grandma and Grandpa made a great team. 

Grandma, Tyler, and Gavin also made a great team. :)

The boys each got BYU sweatshirts from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas. They were excited and we're grateful for the help indoctrinating our children that BYU is the best school to go to. 

The boys fell in love with Aunt Danille and were so sad when she left. 

Before Grandpa left we made sure to use his expertise to make (uh, I mean help make) Spencer's pinewood derby car. 

Spencer got in on the action too and now he's all set to win the derby!!
